Consultant, Business Project Management

  • Manage projects to achieve desired business objectives, identify and develop business process mapping with regard to data quality/integrity. 

  • Responsible for leading a Tier I project - Harleysville Integration Program for the P & C Claims Organization and managing a budget of 1.8 million.  Conduct monthly forecasting and trend analysis.

  • Using Project Management methodology, led the Continuous Improvement Project for Nationwide Indemnity Asbestos Claims. 

  • Led and participated in the creation of the implementation strategies for key Harleysville integration initiatives – adoption of Nationwide Best Claims Practices, Shared Services with Material Damage and Property claims, utilization of SIU fraud intelligences and field investigators.

  • Led the development and delivery of the 2014 MBOs for the P & C Claims.  The project was successful by reducing the number of performance objectives and the earliest delivery of the objectives in recent history.

  • Led the Allied Extra Coverage Endorsement Deductible Reimbursement Project.  Partnered with Legal and Claims Support Services to develop the process for ensuring members received entitled deductible reimbursements.  Led the initiative to create an e-learning training module for claims associates to address the Allied Extra Coverage Endorsement with our members on the front end of the claims process.

 

Training Consultant

  • Responsible for assessing training needs, and designing and delivering training solutions that produced measurable results to the associates and the claims organization.

  • Led and implemented the Claims Customer Experience training for the Claims Training Organizations.

  • Led the Casualty New Hire certification process for field casualty training partners to deliver the school in their respective zones.

  • Led the redesign and implementation of pre-work for the Casualty New Hire School into an online curriculum within iDrive to create a blended learning experience that allowed students to complete their learning at their own pace 24/7.  The classroom training time was reduced to 5 days as a result of utilizing pre-work and webinars.

  • Assisted in the interview process and selection of subsequent trainers.

  • Managed development and delivery of approximately 52 classroom sessions and 170 e-learning sessions (via WebEx) per year.  Participants included claims managers and associates.  Consistently earned exemplary evaluations and maintained an average instructor survey score of 4.93 indicative of On Your Side Service behaviors.

  • Led the Claims Transformation project for the Claims Training Organization.  Worked closely with our IT partners to ensure the new training environments were developed according to our business requirements. 

  • Selected to design and deliver a presentation skills training workshop for field property associates in conjunction with the Hail Training workshop.  Received superb feedback from participants and the Property Technical Staff Office.
